Since its formation in December 1999, the foundation has through is founder raised and donated hospital equipment, worth over £100,000 to various hospitals in the Niger Delta Area of Nigeria.

In MacGrey Foundation (MF) we see education of children as the basis of culture and civilization. It is instrumental in the development of their values and virtues. Education, we hope will cultivates children into mature individuals, individuals capable of planning for their futures and taking the right decisions.
Between December 2000 and December 2009, MarGrey Foundation (MF) awarded 298 (two hundred and ninety eight university scholarships to under privileged students from the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. (many have graduated as doctors, lawyers, engineers, etc.). Teachers training scholarship to 4 students and paid fees and uniform to over 30 Secondary School children from disadvantaged homes across Nigeria.
Over the years, the Foundation have donated notebooks, pencils, mathematical sets, pen and other educational materials to over 11,000 school children in Delta State, with extra materials given to school teachers to distribute to children who were not in school at the time of our visits due to illness, holiday or bereavement, etc.
We have also donated 100 copies of the book titled “The Proverbs of an African Princess” (a book written by Richmond MacGrey) to Dr. Kubuera Memorial Library in Cross River State of Nigeria, Akwa Ibo State Union in the United Kingdom and other organizations across the world.
Sponsored 40 young ladies on a two year programme in the study of hairdressing and beauty treatment at Feminine Touch Salon in Sapele, Delta- State of Nigeria. All of the ladies have since graduated from their training and we have supported them in setting up their own businesses. The Foundation plan to sponsor 10 more trainees in the near future.
Every year the Foundation donates musical equipments to aspiring musicians and Disc Jockeys in Nigeria. These include: wireless microphones, drums, loud-speakers, mixers, amplifiers, cables, plugs, CD / DVD Recording / Production machines, and other musical equipment.
According to the 2006 provisional census figure, Nigeria has a youth population of 80 million, or 60 per cent of her total population. Of this population, more than 80 per cent are unemployed while about 10 per cent are under-employed. Data made available by the National Manpower Board and the NBS indicate that only about 10 per cent of the graduates released into the labour market yearly by Nigerian universities and other tertiary institutions of learning are able to get paid employment.
The implication of the situation is that the nation is contending with a frustrated youth population with the tendency towards vices such as prostitution; cult activities; armed robbery; drug and child trafficking; kidnapping and hostage-taking.
It is therefore a fact that no nation can witness political and economic stability and development if its teeming youth are
